Sonic Generations Trailer Breakdown - my newer, nicer kind of breakdown!

If you thought I was done bothering you about Sonic Generations, guesswhatyou'rewrong! Kids these days love video breakdowns, right? Either way, I thought I'd give a hand at America's newest pastime, scrutinizing little details of things that don't matter much!

So here goes!

0:03 - The ESRB currently has no ratings information for this game!
0:06 - I'm not going to point out anything about these two logos!
0:20 - The only detail worth noticing here is that old Sonic (premodern Sonic?) always has that bright blue glow when he goes fast in these cutscenes, which I find to be inexplicable, but reminds me of something we'll get to later....
0:24 - You're right, trailer, Classic Sonic is a better way to say it than old or premodern Sonic.
0:25 - Old goldish, orangish, whatever-that-color-may-be springs confirmed.
0:26 - MORE IMPORTANTLY, CHAO IN SPACE 2 BILLBOARDS CONFIRMED
0:27 - I hope the enemy-related graphics are early-stage...
0:28 - TWO IMPORTANT COMFIRMATIONS AT ONCE!
-SKATEBOARD ITEM BOX CONFIRMED! PREVIOUSLY NOT A THING!
-FLYING G.U.N. TRUCK CONFIRMED! NOW WITH ADDED LUDICROUSNESS!
-(bonus confirmation by spellcheck: ludicrousness a real word.)
0:34 - New feature: Billboard about honey?
0:35 - I don't ever recall telling Sega about my love of scaffolding...
0:38 - weird springs from sonic 2 also confirmed.
0:39 - Some sort of suspiciously plausible ad for tablet-looking devices?
0:40 - (and also 0:39) Amy's Market? Coffee Blaze? Coincidence or entrepreneurial ladyfriends?
0:42 - There's a light-blue glow similar to what I referenced earlier. It sorta resembles the light-dash that showed up in most of Sonic's Dreamcast-era games, but the fact that he's getting it just by jumping off one of those ramps implies is it's more like a Wii-era experience type bonus. I'm not too worried about it, though.
0:45 - Because I'm too busy furthering my assumptions that this modern Sonic stage will still have a lot of work done on its graphics to get up to the original's quality.
0:48 - Yeah, this looks a little further along!
0:58 - ADORABLE
1:08 - KABOOM SPAGONIA TEASE.

Well, there's one stage from my list, and another one that almost was. As long as this game is Polished up (made more Polish), I'll be looking forward to playing it someday on some hardware TBD (chances of this making it onto the wii U are a little less than 50% according to my haphazard, nearly sourceless, minimal effort research).

Epilogue: I'd like to point out that I think it's absolutely awesome that the 3DS (maybe portable, maybe just 3DS) version will only share one stage with the console ones.

Finally got the video to load in higher resolution. Things I had missed, most of which could barely matter less: Tails' Pizza (so Amy's Market and Coffee Blaze may have NOT been coincidences????) exact wordings on billboards "When your smart phone needs to be really smart" "Chao in Space 2: Perfect Chaos Strikes Back" "Perfect Chaos is back with a Vengeance" One that I'm assuming says "Charmy Bee's Sweet Honey Butter"
And also, perhaps slightly more interesting, wanted posters. I can't make out who's on them for sure, but I'm fairly certain one of them has Nack.
