Holiday Hobo Meal

Well it's Christmas time, and you know what that means!  It's time to start tackling those Thanksgiving leftovers!

The first thing to do is get out a nice, shiny new sheet of aluminum foil and spray it with some cooking spray. Because I forgot to and I learned the hard way for you that everything will stick on that aluminum like the ladies' love on a cool j.
Take that bread out of your pocket and lay it down on there real cozy.  Hey yum!  This is a slice of Harvest Loaf, I'm pretty sure, from Pleasanton Brick Oven Bakery.  Next time you're in Northern Michigan, maybe get some tasty bread from that place for your next hobo meal.

This is cranberry jello salad made with cranberries and jello and probably pineapple.  I'm assuming everyone has some of this left over in their fridge.  Put it on top of the bread!

GOBBLE GOBBLE GOBBLE!  LOOK AT YOUR THANKSGIVING LEFTOVERS!  IF YOU DON'T SEE THE TURKEY THE TURKEY IS YOU!  So put yourself or some other turkey on top!  Pardon my language, but dang, this is starting to look pretty good!

On top of that goes the stuffing.  This stuffing has celery and dried cranberries in it!  That's a lot of the food groups, because we are healthy hobos.
Then on that goes the mashed potaters.  I'll be honest with you, I'm pretty sure these are from before Thanksgiving.  You gotta take 'em out in the order they went in, am I right?????
Finally, stack some tasty green bleans on there.  If they are in casserole form, then bully for you, but these are just regular "freedom cut" ones.
JK JK JK that wasn't the last step!  You have to put an egg on there so the turkey isn't lonely.  It's actually a chicken egg, but the turkey doesn't know that.  Also it's brown.  It tastes the same, though, don't worry.

Cdddddddddrack!  Now all you need to do is tuck it all into that aluminum and pinch it up sealed-like.

Slumber party in the oven!  For 40 minutes or to taste.

When you take it out, it will smell delicious and look also delicious.  Unwrap it like the Christmas gift it happens to be and then dump it out on a plate.

All the flavors soaked into each other pretty much perfectly.  Look at the turkey!  Zowie!

Keep having that happy holiday season and don't forget to eat!
